The Challenge
Contrib operated a platform spanning tens of thousands of domains — each needing custom applications, themes, deployments, and long-term maintenance. The infrastructure had to support rapid provisioning while staying reliable at scale.
My Role
Full-stack developer (May 2010 – Aug 2023), owning application design, AWS infrastructure, WordPress customization, team support, and later Web3 integrations across the Contrib ecosystem.
What I Built
- Designed, developed, deployed, and supported 20,000+ web applications, websites, and frameworks.
- Custom PHP, WordPress, and JavaScript applications with MySQL-backed data layers.
- AWS infrastructure — EC2, S3, IAM, SES, and Lambda — for hosting and automation.
- Custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client and platform requirements.
- Solidity smart contracts and Next.js frontends as the platform expanded into Web3.
- Team troubleshooting, deployment workflows, and integration support across the org.
